Anti-rust Pigment
Coatings are one of the most important tools in the fight against corrosion. They form a barrier between the metal surface and the environment, thereby reducing oxidation. With increasingly stringent environmental regulations, traditional anti-rust pigments containing heavy metals such as lead, chromium and mercury are gradually being phased out. Silica anti-rust pigments are a type of paint additive whose main component is silicon dioxide (SiO2). They are widely used in the modern coatings industry due to their excellent anti-rust properties and environmental characteristics. This pigment is chemically inert, non-toxic and harmless, and can form a protective layer in corrosive environments, effectively preventing corrosion of metal materials.
