Strong anion exchange

SAX packing is a kind of polar bonded packing, which is made by chemical bonding of quaternary ammonium salt functional groups to silica gel matrix. It is mainly strong anion exchange, and the separation mechanism is single. It is commonly used in the separation and purification of water-soluble, weak acid compounds and biomolecules.
